What’s New?

I am doing my best to work diligently on my writing, and am trying a new approach … since nothing else has been working. I currently have several stories in the works, and rather than trying to tackle them one at a time I am working on them concurrently. So far it seems to be working, but only time will tell.

As part of this effort I’ve been playing with DAZ Studio again, and I thought I would offer an introduction to some characters for these stories. It’s my intention to use these images, or slight variations of them, as teasers for when I finally post these works.

First up we have Ashley, the protagonist of a story entitled Sun Child. As you can see, Ashley is a country girl of Native American heritage, though perhaps not as much as her appearance suggests.

Here’s another render of Ashley, this time with her best buddy, Hototo Muya. (The name is Hopi, and means ‘warrior spirit who sings to the moon’ … I hope) Toto, as he is known affectionately, is an AraAppaloosa stallion; half Arabian and half Appaloosa. The backdrop is Arizona canyon country, where the story takes place.

Next we have Victoria Steele, Tori, the heroine of Forged in Fire. There’s a snippet of this space opera here if you’re interested, along with some background info on the setting, just check the links in the┬áright sidebar.

At first glance this may appear to be two characters, but in fact it’s two sides of the same person. Her name is Lilith, and she’s the protagonist of a story that’s tentatively entitled Eden’s Child. If you don’t get what she is, you obviously never played Dungeons & Dragons.

Finally, a rendering of Brandi, from Genomorph, in action. Ms. Williams will be back in Genomorph 2: Valkyrie Rising … and she may make an appearance in one of the above stories … you’ll just have to wait and see, and hopefully not too long.

So, that’s what I’m up to. I hope you enjoy the images, and that they get you interested in what’s to come!
